How much does a gardener cost in Swansea?
Every job gets a fixed price in writing before we start. Regular visits and one-off jobs are quoted free, usually the same day, after a quick look or a few photos on WhatsApp.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get into the garden, we'll send before and after photos when we're done.
Do you take the garden waste away?
Yes, all cuttings and green waste are cleared and removed, and it's included in the price.
Do you do one-off jobs?
Yes, as well as regular fortnightly and monthly visits.
Do you work through autumn and winter?
Yes: leaf clearance, hedge cutting, tidy-ups and jet washing all year round.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We look after rental properties, holiday lets and commercial sites, with photo reports after each visit.
Is it the same team each time?
Yes. The same local team looks after your garden every visit, so you'll always know who's coming.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Mumbles and cover Swansea and Gower across SA1, SA2, SA3 and SA4, including Bishopston, Langland, West Cross, Mayals, Sketty, Killay, Gowerton and Gorseinon. Elsewhere in Swansea? Just ask.
Garden maintenance
How often should a garden be maintained?
Most gardens need a visit every two weeks while the grass is growing, roughly March to October, and once a month over winter.
Is it the same gardener each time?
Yes. The same local team looks after your garden every visit, so you'll always know who's coming.
Hedge cutting
How much does hedge cutting cost?
It depends on the length, height and how overgrown the hedge is. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll give you a fixed price, usually the same day.
Can you cut tall hedges?
Yes, we cut everything from small front-garden hedges to long boundary hedges and conifers. If anything needs specialist kit, we'll tell you up front.
Do you take the cuttings away?
Yes, all cuttings are cleared and removed as part of the job.
When is the best time to cut a hedge?
For most hedges, late summer to early autumn, once nesting season is over. Fast growers may need a second trim earlier in the year.
Garden clearance
How long does a garden clearance take?
Most overgrown gardens are cleared in a day. Bigger jobs we'll tell you up front when we quote.
Is waste removal included?
Yes, all the green waste is cleared and taken away as part of the price.
Do I need to be there?
No. As long as we can get in, we'll send before and after photos when it's done.
Can you keep it tidy afterwards?
Yes, we can put you on a fortnightly or monthly round so it doesn't get overgrown again.
Jet washing
How much does patio cleaning cost?
It depends on the size and the surface. Send a photo and rough measurements on WhatsApp and we'll give you a fixed price.
Do you clean decking?
Yes, as well as patios, driveways, paths, steps and garden walls.
Do you jet wash in winter?
Yes, we jet wash all year round. Winter is when slippery green patios cause the most problems.
Leaf clearance
When should I clear leaves?
Once most have fallen, usually November, with an earlier visit in October if you have big trees nearby.
Do you take the leaves away?
Yes, all leaves are cleared and removed.
Can you do it while I'm away?
Yes. As long as we can get into the garden, we'll send before and after photos.
Do you work through winter?
Yes, we do leaf clearance, hedge cutting, tidy-ups and jet washing all year round.
